GRAND CHAMPION PONDEROSA’S DISCO DANCER

After Narrowly getting beaten for Best Adult in Show at the 2001 World Budgerigar Society Show we decided to give him a run out at the National Exhibition of Cage Birds where he went BEST BUDGERIGAR in SHOW. This Cock is probably the best budgerigar we have ever bred but the hardest to get into show condition. A buff feathered bird which in itself made him difficult to get into condition , he wanted to be cock of the roost and would fight other cocks when penned for show usually coming second best requiring regular head washing between shows. He did not breed but thankfully the rest of the family did.
